So im flying out to jamaica April 8th and staying in a all-inclusive resort, was just wondering has anyone been to jamaica or stayed in a resort before? if so how is the marijuana out there? ive been hearing once you get off the plane people approach you and ask if you need anything. Also if any fellow NTer been there before do yas have any advice or places i should visit. thank you

I have, I stayed at the RIU all inclusive and had a good time, I don't smoke so I can't answer that. Go to Ochorios, do the zip lining, and watch out for cheap tours to churches and schools because all they do is ask you for money.

don't buy from the guy who sells it on the bus ride to your hotel.
either buy it from the guys selling their wares on the side of the hotel (on the beach they will be over to one side, selling all kinds of stuff.) or the guys working at the hotel.

respect. respect these guys. if you tell them you will buy something from them, they won't forget it. so be true to your word. if someone asks you and you already promised someone else, tell them you already promised some one else.

anyway, the weed. buy from guys who work at the hotel, or the guys selling their stuff on the beach.
i think i paid $10 for a joint. don't ever agree to their first price on anything. they know to start high. they plan on negotiating.

Go to Ochos Rios and do Dunns River Falls.... a great experience. And in my opinion.... while your in montego bay...take a day trip to Negril...stop off at Marguaritaville and chill at the beach...Negrils beaches are better than montego bay and ocho rios....less sea weed...alot bluer and clearer... And if you go to Negril..check out Rick's Cafe.. they have a cliff that you can jump off into the water in...while you're eating you can watch locals do flips off the cliff..etc.

Hoodlums? never saw any. That resort had some good food, staff was fun to be around and pleasant at Riu

I would recommend Ocho Rios over MoBay any day. Go to the Sandcastle resort there too,

As would I. Also, Negril, seeing as how it's peak season.. The weed was trash for me, but very cheap, my friend in Negril actually showed me his humble plot last time I was there. My father has stayed at the Rui quite a few times and loved it, you literally don't have to leave the compound for anything during you stay. I don't do all-inclusive simply because I like to explore the concrete jungle and mingle with the locals. Pops has stayed at the Sandcastle too, one of the better resorts in Ocho Rios
