My mom has an iMac and boy, does that thing suck. I'm sticking with Windows XP. Much easier for me to use.
I hate both companies. Microsoft is a swindling monster with its "pay now for x microsoftpoints" which, in the end, gives you the short end of the stick (I'm stuck with 280 left to spare, and I'm not spending it on damn wallpapers). Apple allows you to pay for as many songs as you want, but the user interface seriously sucks, and is way overpriced. An IBM Thinkpad with Windows XP is all I need, and they're cheaper than any Mac laptop.

iPods are garbage. From personal experience, apple gives you a 1 year warranty and both my ipods have broke right around 1 year and 2 months... Never had a zune, but im seriously considering purchasing another brand of mp3 player that lasts more than 1 year. anyone know any reliable ones?

there are so many flaws in your logic.
-Microsoft Windows XP: Best OS in my opinion. My current computer, Dell Dimension 4600, bought in 2003, has had no crashes, and I've never bothered to even download the security updates.
biggest #+%*$$@* ever. no way in hell have you gone 6 years without downloading a security update.

Are you serious dude, youre judging a computer by leaving it on for 3 days? I haven't turned my computer off in weeks...Originally Posted by Dynamic X
By the way, I left my Dell on for about 3 days straight (didn't mean to), while I went on a weekend vacation. Still worked fine when I got back, went straight to the internet. I don't like how there is no toolbar for me to select Mozilla Firefox, and with one click, get back onto Word or Powerpoint.
