Don't know, don't think its been determine yet, actually more critical is the fact that I don't even think there is a bidder yet! Maybe MD/DC/VA NT can get together and start the first slot casino (by the way although I approve I HATE SLOTS... ANNOYING).
Also, It's my understanding that the MGM from Vegas was interested but when they heard how much MD is taxing on the dollar they fell back. One of myconcerns was that the slots would be all over the place, laundry mat, liquor store, 7-11... just careless with it. But as I re-read and if I'm notmistaking it's only 5 license which to my interpretation will probably mean only 5 spots in MD with slots. If I can take a guess... I see one in Laurelat the Horse Track (because they need some sort of boost), Ocean City, The National Harbor, perhaps Bmore, and one more further outside in MD. My guess areuneducated (lol) and hold no credibility.

We shall see what happens with this in the long run... also I MIGHT be tripping but I thought I overheard somewhere that even if it pass (which it did) itstill needs "approval" from I don't know who before its actually implemented.

thanks jpaycheck... my first thought was laurel too; but then i heard rumblings that they were going to destroy laurel racetrack...all the other places youmentioned are very logical, and i agree with your concern about puttin slots "everywhere"..

I read in the paper that its 15,000 machines at 5 locations...two of which are Laurel and Baltimore city. I figured that the Bmore location would be atPimlico, but I heard they want to build a new spot close to the harbor and the staduims.
