This fight just shows how boxing has no stars outside of Floyd. Some **** like this would never happen in the 80's or 90's.
False. Canelo/Golovkin should still do big numbers. Some young guys are developing. MMA has the same problem though.
"Boxing" doesn't even want this fight to happen. This is all Floyd. This is a cash grab for both guys.
Only super hardcore boxing fans care about that Canelo/GGG fight. I know this is all for money but the only reason this was ever talked about is cuz there's nobody left for Floyd to fight. There's no younger stars right now to take the torch from Floyd. It's always "Who can Floyd fight next...". Whether boxing wants this to happen or not the fact is that have no stars outside of Floyd.
That is not fact. That is an opinion. If you are saying there are no stars on Floyds level, that's one thing. Saying there are no stars is inaccurate.
There are younger stars for Floyd to fight. Floyd doesn't care about fighting them though. He's 40. He technically retired. Are they as big of a name as Conor? No.
This is a cashout. You're trying to connect two things that aren't really interconnected.
Nah, i'm a very casual fan and been wanting to see GGG vs Canelo.
And then there's this. It would be one thing if you said Ward/Kovalev. But this whole "super hardcore" thing is off base.
