What did you and Rhino Sr. think of Warrior during his early days? Especially when he was breaking in? Listening to JC about how EVERYONE in the business viewed him as a joke and how he was the Poster Child of a "Vince Product."
I had stopped watching wrestling by the time Warrior won the title...
as I remember having to go back and watch the Warrior/Hogan title match
later.
So I wasn't watching as he broke into the WWF or when he won the title.
But I do remember seeing Ultimate Warrior merch crowd out other merch.
Stuff like that. His push was obvious even from my perspective on the outside
looking into the bubble.
Honestly, at that time, I thought Warrior was too cartoonish & not a great replacement
for Hogan. He didn't have the staying power Hogan had and was maybe even annoying to me.
