I don't bother with the ratings seeing as how I watch both Wednesday shows.
I'm talking about the show itself when I meant give me examples.

When you said good year, I was asking you in regards to the show quality.
You want to use them winning in the ratings? Fine, I'll give them that. I got no problem with it.

Again, I mentioned what they do caters to THEIR fans.
THEIR fans are the ones that vote in the WON Awards.
So, I would say to refer to the nominees (matches) that are listed in the Awards document.
Again, they aren't for ME so I wouldn't call what they do highly entertaining to ME.
BUt, plenty of people do and that is what THEY (AEW) gauges THEIR success on.

I'm not asking what the stans like. Of course to those folks AEW does nothing wrong and get offended if you say something negative about the product.
I'm asking you as an unbiased wrestling fan what made it a good year for them from what you've seen

Honestly, Anything else would be opinionated.
I haven't looked up their financials, I don't care that match.
But they are a Television Wrestling Company and them winning their weekly battle on a consistent basis is HUGE. I think that alone is enough to say they had a good year.

Of course it's your opinion, which you are entitled to.

When I have watched the show, I have not been entertained.
I always ask myself, "Why are you even watching this."
It is goofy.
It is childish.
It is super High Spot based wrestling.
Most matches are low in psychological IQ
It is filled with too many inside jokes.
It isn't a true WWE Alternative.
It isn't as "All Inclusive" as it claims to be. MOST of the Headlining acts are White Males.
So yea, it doesn't entertain me at all.
If I never see it again I would be 100% fine.

Listening to the Disco/Konnan review on NXT and they’re pretty spot on about the Kross/Santos match. I thought it was nice but I did expect more violence and some of the spots really made no sense, especially when Kross slammed the pick axe into the door instead of the window
