Y'all do realize it's been 4 1/2 yrs since the Cruiserweight Classic and Kota is JUST NOW being put at the top of the food chain in NJPW..Coming out of the tourney that's put more eyes on him than anything else he's done before and it still took NJPW almost 5 yrs to make him the man..But please tell me again how WWE would've misused him and his time would've been wasted..Gedo gave him a couple BS spots to keep him from leaving..Hell Tanahashi's old broke down *** has been used better in that time frame..THEY MADE EVIL A DOUBLE CHAMPION BEFORE KOTA IBUSHI..Let that sink in..

Yeah I’ll still take whatever he’s done in New Japan since the cruiserweight classic over what he “could have done” in WWE which we all know is probably nothing of significance. The man doesn’t speak English we see what happens with talents in that company who do not speak the English language well. At best he would have a run similar to Nakamura but Ibushi isn’t anywhere near as charismatic as Nak so that leads me to believe he would had a trajectory like Tozawa.
You see what happens with dudes who can’t speak well they don’t fare well in the company and Ibushi would’ve probably fallen right into that group of guys who don’t get a push because of that.
