What I think you’re trying to say is you THINK theres been “mass shootings” in NYC that are not being tallied in the NY state mass shootings. I’m not sure I’m just using the statistics available to me.

That's exactly what I'm saying. If 5 people are shot it should be considered a mass shooting, according to your definition of 4 or more, yet the statistics you present say this has only happened 5 times in 40 years.

Are we gonna address that an armed officer engaged the shooter outside of the school BUT DIDN’T FIRE HIS/HER WEAPON AT THE GUY CARRYING A RIFLE?

The shooter was then able to get inside the school and barricade himself, and it took FORTY MINUTES for law enforcement to neutralize the threat? If I’m understanding it correctly, local law enforcement waited for proper breaching equipment (think SWAT gear) prior to going into the school.

Can we talk about the good guy with a gun shtick that gun nuts love to parrot? And we really want to arm teachers and put the onus on them to thwart school shootings? Really????

This country is all sorts of ****** up. Sickening.

Not sure when the guns were bought and when the felony occurred, but you can't own a firearm in Texas if you're a felon. I think you have to wait 4 or 5 years to be able to own one and you're severely restricted on that. I doubt that's the case here.

Granddad is saying he had no idea about the guns. Not sure if I believe that or not. These weren't exactly little handguns that are easy to conceal. Something doesn't add up.
