Same in every sport, great player isnt in his prime anymore and people forget everything hes ever done....

To keep it on topic, Marvin Harrison was a beast is definitely one of the all-time greats... definitely top-10 but top-5 might be pushing it... hopefully hebecomes a solid #3 WR for somebody soon...
