Not only do I appreciate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., but all the people who contributed to the Civil Rights Era.
In watching a film that was chronicling this era, one of the members of the Little Rock 9 said that she was getting up and going to Central H.S. amidst thechaos that was trying to hold them back and she said King told her that she was doing this not for herself but for a generation unborn.... Me. And I am trulygrateful for that.
I respect the everyday people who risked their lives for Civil Rights. They went through so much and had the courage to do so.
