Depends on what you define as "rock". I myself grew up listening to lots of thrash and punk, so I would be partial to bands like the Misfits, Black Flag, Dead Kennedy's, Slayer, Iron Maiden, Anthrax.

I would say Maiden, but alot of my favorite bands these days were heavily influenced by Zep, Sabbath, and Floyd, all of which I actually despise.

Why do you despise them? Sabbath is prob my fave rock band next to Funkadelic. Love TOOL too. Misfits, Kennedys; any older punk is good in my book.

Stones>Beatles. Beatles are monumentally important for music though.

Prince is the GOAT musician

Really?..I’m not too familiar with them..When I watch ROH occasionally they’re always on and are great to watch in the ring..
Sorry, Homophobic. either way, it was some sort of hate speech lol.
Mayne, **** this.
A hate filled NTWT is the best NTWT..
Agreed.

Sabbath is tolerable, the other two are really meh to me. I enjoy maybe 1 song from each of Floyd and Zep, but just cannot stand either of them. I blame not doing drugs as my reason haha.

Love Prince to this day. Such a talented musician.

Tool is alright, I enjoy APC more actually. Most of the punk I grew up on was skate/politipunk from the early/mid 90s (Bad Religion, Pennywise, Anti Flag, Descendants, Propaghandi, etc.) or Hardcore like Cro Mags, FEAR, Minor threat, Bad brains, Integrity.

I love various forms of stoner/sludge metal, which is why people find it hard for me to not like Sabbath, Floyd, and Zep because the DNA is there.

one of my fav zeppelin songs was only available as a vinyl b-side for a long time...
so radio stations had it but most cats didn't have it in their home catalogs...remastering & internet has changed that now tho...
