What I'd like to know is if there are any after credit scene? DC doesn't really do it but there is always a chance they can start here to get people excited for JLA. Please make it spoiler free though, just a yes or no answer will suffice. Thanks.

There isn't. Just saw someone's post on reddit and he confirmed there is no post-credits scene.
ALTHOUGH... another redditor claimed that some pre-screenings don't include post-credits scenes. So one can only hope

Sinestro in GL wasn't really a post credit scene, it was mid credit I guess? It was shown after the stars names but not the whole production list of names, like Thanos, he was a mid-credit scene while the shawarma scene was the post credit scene for the Avengers.

I am not nitpicking but Nolan isn't too fond of after credit scenes and WB isn't really big on that either and copying Marvel so the Sinestro scene isn't really post credit. To me, Sinestro doesn't really count because I never really stand up until that long list of names appear.
I am not sure if the post credit scene will involve Lex, there are already signs/easter egg of Lex in the film, I think it is better to have a JLA or Batman hint since that seems to be where they are going next, remember JLA is slated to come out in 2015.

I think movies usually have to make double the budget to get a profit on box office. So from those numbers, SR actually took a loss.

I know it is much, much more complicated but it was just a response to the snippet I took from that article defending SR. it is misleading to say it is 2006s highest grossing film, technically I guess it is but the high budget completely negates it.

I don't think it's misleading.. it was one of the highest grossing and had a larger box office than Batman Begins. It's misleading if the article said it was one of the most profitable movies... but it didn't.

I remember watching superman returns in theaters and hating the face that it felt like Reeves' superman world. The scenery the campiness of routh

It definitely seem to imply it to make the film seem much better than it really is especially with "Batman getting a sequel" bit, as if SR grossed more but BB got the sequel and it didn't.

I don't want to spoil anything but it far exceeded my expectations from a Superman film.
YES...A lot of action.
Since the screening was for film students, a lot of what was discussed was about production of the movie. He said he shot a lot from handheld camera to really show the emotion and action of the film. He doesn't like 3D...Henry Cavill was his first choice as were most of the main characters. Christopher Nolan was only on set once, but gave him a lot of support. David Goyer had a major impact on the film more than Nolan...he said Goyer is like a living encyclopedia for Superman. He was going to have a character drop the F-bomb in one scene but took it out because of the MPAA. He talked for over 30 min to answer questions so he covered a lot about his career and what it was like to work on the project. No questions were asked about JLA or a sequel.
