Apple can spend money an advertisement because Mac and OS are solid. Vista on the other hand

QFT... these dudes must DL'ing 2 million gigs of porn and applications with all kinds of spyware and whatnot. or they don't know how/whento upgrade and load all kinds of @%$! onto their comp that it can't handle.

I've been building and maintaining my own PCs since i was about 13 years old. Switched to Mac during the first release of their G4 systems and never looked back.

mac is not a company, it is a product. apple is the company. sorry i'm nitpicky like that.

the thing i hate about these commercials is that they compare apples to oranges. Mac is a brand. PC is a technology behind a computer. Mac is basically a PC(i.e. motherboard, CPU, video card, OS) with a brand name called "Mac". Strip out the brand name and it's the same thing. i don;t know why appledoesn;t just say "Mac vs. Windows" because a PC itself doesn;t have to run Windows in order to work.

You're are right. But if not mistaken, i think this is the first or second commercial where apple specifically targets Microsoft. I think in the previouscommercials, its apple vs. generic PC. I think the last two apple commercials were made in response to Microsoft's "Im a PC" and"Vista" commercials.
