I'm glad someone agrees with me to an extent. Throw in Lin too and we get Yi and Crawford.

Nick Young?
He's not bad, but Monta is on another tier/level compared to him. Trading Monta for McGee and Young and a few other pieces makes sense, but there's probably better deals out there.

[h3]Possible Ellis deals[/h3]

[h5]Monta Ellis | Warriors[/h5]
UPDATE: David Aldridge of NBA.com offers this on Friday via Twitter: "Told this a.m. by source involved with Ellis trade talk that there's 'nothing imminent' happening. Didn't say a trade wouldn't happen, though."
---
We've heard about Golden State talking to Philadelphia about a swap of Monta Ellis for Andre Iguodala and the San Francisco Chronicle lists Josh Smith[Atlanta], Rudy Gay [Memphis], Wesley Matthews [Portland] and Nicolas Batum [Portland] as potential targets for the Warriors.
According to The Oakland Tribune, other proposed deals are Ellis for Luol Deng [Chicago] and Nene Hilario [Denver].
Ken Berger of CBS Sports reports Ellis' agent, Jeff Fried, is working with the Warriors to find a good trade for his client and the team.
At the end of the day Ellis could remain with Golden State, but the odds are against it.

Seriously. Batum is ridiculously underrated. Wes is a legit starting 2, or would be a great 6th man if you wanted to start Batum instead. It'd be nice to have two long defenders out on the perimeter...only thing missing is a legit shotblocker that the defense can funnel players into.Originally Posted by LazyJ10
I couldn't say yes to the proposed Portland deal fast enough
