tough to make a case for Bill this year. no Edelman or Hightower sure, but between the QB, offensive skill players, defensive core players, and coordinators...he had plenty of help. if anything, they might have underachieved a bit with some of the eggs we laid this year

yeah. but like it's not some crazy turnaround. he can be coach of the decade or whatever. but feel like the spirit of the award is giving it to someone that righted a ship or overcame a lot. they need a coach of the decade award for bill

I get it from the perspective that everyone just knows he's the best coach in the league but at the same time the AFC being weak is why he hasn't been getting it.
NFC coach has gotten 6 of the last 7 years. The NFC has been so competitive during that timeframe that it stands out more when that one or two NFC squads have a great season. It stands out more when someone like the Rams turns it around in a years time and has as much success as they did.
Same applies for Eagles even more so and the fact that they were clearly the best team in the conference, probably the league, along with locking down the 1 seed without their QB is pretty dumb. It's not absurd McVay got it, but Pederson should have and getting only 1 vote is super dumb.
