) but these offensive breakdown vids are what made it so ridiculous to me when he was saying that good teams like the warriors and spurs just have smart players that make random cuts and coaching/system has little to do with it

I think that perspective comes from the fact that bad coaches outnumber good ones. But off the top of my head teams like Lal, nyk, Minny, and maybe even sac should see significant improvement from switching coaches. I'm not just talking wins and losses but just playing better basketball. Teams like gsw, okc, pdx, bos have shown the impact a good coach can make
Also my main point was that these vids clearly illustrate that these dudes are not just playing 'random basketball' like shoe was saying. They play within a system how they are coached to do.

Yea I was trying to wrap my head around this. If he's traded it seems like it would be a 'win now' move. Unless there is some team desperate for cap space that would be willing to give up a 1st rounder.

Agreed. Especially with that stupid waiting line system they have sometimes. Missed out on some concert tickets because of that. Yesterday's release didn't have that but it's best to be prepared if it is.
