I don’t know, I’m a Stan for 80’s era Spielberg type schlock so this seems like it should click with me…Still feeling off about it for some reason though…Maybe I’ll give it a chance this weekend…

oh i am too
its the same issue i had with Stranger Things. the dialogue between the kids came off forced, like they were trying too hard to fabricate chemistry. some of the ways the kids acted didnt even make sense.
its the reason all those Spielberg classics with kids are still good today, good story, great chemistry
this show comes off as a halfassed paint by numbers approach to create a hit
