Those were my first pair of LeBrons. Got them on sale for 89.99 and to this day I should have doubled or tripled up. 2s and 3s are my favorites with the 9s and 11s. I would throw the 1 in to make it top 5. If I score those KC exts they will vault all the way to number 2 for me and you know the KP is #1

Yeah I would have to say the 2 is the best of the 1-6.. 90 bucks sounds right too lol

That gif is wild :lol

All he's missing is the plastic bag over her head and the zip ties

WTL XI FSR Pre-order $470 shipped
US 8-12
100% refundable if you don't get the shoes (checkout through paypal)

Idk if I'm allowed to but j bigj505 bigj505 can I post link in case folks are interested?

if its a valid site I cant see why not. pre-orders were posted for the GK XIs and there was no problem.

I miss my akrons :{
shoes as a whole wasn't rocking like that back then. there is a whole new generation of bron people tho especially since the SB 8 dropped. the 8s really, really brought people into the LeBron line. Him winning rings brought even more.
Very true, all good points, however I was rockin with shoes then (basketball) and I liked Bron from the get-go in 03 cuz of his unselfish playing style after all that hype of a high school kid being that good.. Aside from that never cared for his kicks then, saw them all on shelves and again just too "big man" for my tastes.. Almost bought those black/red/white 2s though came very close

I can understand what you are saying. I don't mess with certain versions either but I do respect their place in shoe history. I honestly don't even fool with Jordans 1 or 2 either. Just not my thing.

There were some solid brons tho that would be nice to get now. I like the 3s more than I used to an stuff like the 20-5-5 and some of his soldiers are definitely more respected by me.

I can assure you tho.... let nike retro the earlier lebrons and they will be eaten up especially when they throw some new gen colors on them.

Look at what happened to the Kobe Prelude series....

I stand corrected. *poots and walks away*

we don't usually have issues with sites being posted unless we know its someone promoting their own site and stuff. I seriously doubt pattymelts is slanging WTLs so I def don't have an issue.

Its always up to the users to determine if they are buying or not. What if she was posting a link to kicks-crew? (not happening but you know what im saying). That site sells for above retail all of the time.

Ok now I get it. I was thinking of an eBay live auction for some strange reason. Cool stuff bruh

yea we don't do live auctions for sure... that's probably because dudes would be posting their listings under a different alias all of the time. that rule was around before my time tho :lol

you should have been in the yeezy thread when I posted a link to sneaker.st selling a pair of RO for $3500 when everyone else online was asking for $6k.... some dudes tried to put me on a cross and do me in claiming I was affiliated with the site and stuff :{

shoes sold in like 10 min from me posting the link doe.

I gotta admit I'm bias on the jays 1 and 2 simply cuz there jays, if they were just regular Nike's then yeah prolly not so much but there Jordan's from his playing days so that makes em what they are to me and I know alotta buyers feel that way about Bron..
I certainly respect the shoe history myself and Lebron the player his legacy on the court will shape the future meaning of his early models but yeah at the same time I'm not one of those people who feel that way about James to buy a sneaker of his for nostalgia/fan boy purposes, although I like the dude those early models aren't my thing..
When they do retro the early models, absolutely I agree they'll sell like hot cakes

I hate these questions but I'm gonna ask anyway...

Yall think these will hit discounts?
might just sit long enough for you to be able to use discounts on....if they do sit you already know within a week or so some website will have them 30-40 dollars (floridians for example) and you see once that happens all the good sizes gets copped quick!  so if you want them i would cop them then...might be risky waiting for them to hit 99 or below!

and i was just answering Bob's question about which two people i was referring to so there would be no doubt or confusion...just putting that out there cuz i know ur reading this!

yep... its a generational thing tho.
these younger kids will/are worshiping bron like we did Jordan since they never even got to see him play. LeBron will most likely become basketball legend and as these kids grow up, they will want to attain models they couldn't get when they were younger. nothing will surpass JB IMO but LeBron's line has the ability to do some serious work to close the gap.

Maaaan, I loved the black/red 3s but never copped. I was still JB'd out.

To me, Lebrons kicks tend to look outta place in the present but years later they fit in perfectly... or maybe my taste evolved

I think the generational thing is true.  I couldn't afford the very 1st Js that come out when I was coming up.  Can't say that I even wanted any of them until the 4s hit.  I would gawk at them as the sat for weeks in the stores.  I can go ham all I want now on these "retros" though.  Problem is, I do find that the newer sneakers like Lebrons, seem to be "nicer" to my feet for actually playing basketball.  So, I guess I have to fall in with the younger gen to get them.

Yeah they do and that's true even though I don't want to admit it but it is a generational thing for sure.. To me I'm more of a Kobe shoe line fan (feel the same about him as Bron for the most part, don't hate or love him but certainly respect his longevity and what he's done career-wise as well) his kicks are "more MJ shaped" obviously being a smaller guard than a Lebron, Melo or Durant.. If you haven't picked up on it I'm all about shape over here lol, while the only player I'm gonna buy a model of from purely just a nostalgic reason is Jordan, Nike's main signature athletes today I'm just gonna buy from purely if I like the shoe or not cuz that "have to have it cuz whoever is wearing it" was done for me at the same point Jordan retired

same thing people said about the foamposites :lol

not many athletes had signature lines that are as successful and long tenured as Jordan. LeBron will pump out the most with only KD who can come close (or even exceed them).

that will being HUGE for when Nike retros his line as people can get that "old school" feel with the Generations and get the newer feel with some of the newer stuff. we will be able to make filmstrips of the evolution of the bron line and appreciate the changes.

1 and 2 would be great retros but the 3s would be a takedown version. That leather is so tuff and amazing. I have a shoegasm everytime I look under the bed and spot them. To continue my AJ to LBJ comparison the 3s are the 4s of legacy line. Man they would be like the AJ 17s waiting to go up in price before they can make a "profit" on them. If they charging 200 for remastered jordans with "quality" leather then they would charge 250 or 300 for that quality leather on the 3s

I can only imagine the MSRP for the IV's since they had foamposite on them
When/if they do a retro they should start with a couple classics then start with the pairs that were never released to the public

Very true I was born in the 90's and I seen games but couldn't really enjoy/understand it like most of the older people in here

Once I got my 1st pair of brons I planned out to collect them because he is kinda like the Jordan of my time because I can actually watch and pay attention to the games his line can definitely close the gap
