If you compare magic highlight of his passes to lebron. It's a lot a lot better than lebron.

Lebron get assists by passing to a wide open three point shooter majority of the time. Lol what's so amazing about that? A lot of casual fan get wowed too easily.

Watch magic laser passes and in transition passes to non shooters. Now that's what you call great assists.

I like watching basketball, I'm not like you. I look at total stats after the game once I don't study them. I like energy and flash, lebron is a basic boring player to me. Yeah he's great and can fill the stat sheet but his court presence is lacking for the type of player he is. I don't think the average casual fan enjoys lebrons game. Hardcore fans that follow stats probably loves lebron. I love him for that too but his game is bland as ****. 

So ya, basically I'm a way better fan of basketball then you are and you suck at watching this game. 

Maybe you are a hardcore fan that follows stats, but you are not like me, a real fan.

I swear some of y'all never played organized ball before. An assist is an assist, regardless of it being an alleyoop, no look or a two handed chest pass. Timing is just as important as delivery. Stockson's last of a Youtube "Highlight Reel" doesn't take away from the fact that he was a great passer.

Thats not what I did though, my argument from the get go was that LeBron is an elite jumpshooter, not the best. I cant control what the article that holds the stats say. We all are informed people here, we know stats dont tell 100% of the story, there are many outside factors that go into it, shot selection, his obvious size and quickness advantage, etc, but the point is that hes now an elite jump shooter and the stats support that. I even said in my first post that I regard him as an elite jumpshooter, we all know he isnt the best, but is he damn good? Yes.

You just proved my point. You're naive. The stat is misleading because it doesn't show how lebron take the shots. How they were defended? or wether if its open or contested, etc

That's why I told you to watch the game. Lebron is a mediocre off the dribble shooter. He rarely if ever take long 2s. And he rarely can produce off contested jumpers. On top of that he could have shot just 4 jumpers per game for example. If he make 2 that's 50%. Compare that to real shooters like curry for example. Curry doesn't take just 4 jumpers a game. He actually score off dribble, behind screen, long 2, contested jumper etc.

So again. The stat is misleading. You really got to watch lebron. Don't base it off stat.

Heck. Melo, Durant, kobe are actually way better shooter than lebron.
