Anyone have issues with lace durability? I went through 2 pairs of Tahitians and now 1 pair of Abalones because the laces ended up getting frayed and ripping. I have to tie my left shoe really tight to prevent heel slippage (that foot is smaller) and the only pair that has survived this is the Akoya colorway.
I just got my replacement Abalone pair in from Nike so fingers crossed these hold up, but they feel just as thin as my other pair…

I can see that happening but I always pull my laces straight out and then up instead up pulling upward and rubbing against the metal eyelet.
Can't remember what shoe it was but I shredded some laces back in the day and I switched up my method ever since.

Just saw the monochrome setup in person today. Really don't like how they applied the swoosh. Early pairs kept a subtle swoosh, refresh pairs got a piece of plastic slapped on the side

Don't own a pair of these but have tried them on.... felt pretty stiff, I'm sure it will get better with some break-in.
Between these and the NXXT AMPD maybe Lebron needed more support for his feet but I'm not really a huge fan of the upper material change

They 100% get better when breaking in. Have those and the grey pair. They just as good or better then the regular 21.
