So I'm thinking of purchasing a pair of corks from a guy in philly. He said he would ship through UPS and I had to pay through western union. I'm generally suspicious because of his prices. Ex: Asia release what the kobe 8 for 200 shipped, gamma 11s for 220 shipped, etc... Anyway he sent me a few pics and I'm not sure. I've seen plenty of vids but they don't really help. Those corks are legit... but usually western union is how you get scammed.

sending money through western union is like sending money as a gift on paypal. There's no buyer protection, once you push send the money's gone.  Places in Asia with large inventories of shoes usually are 3rd shift or A+ replicas, but who knows if they will carry out their end of the bargain once you send the money.  My 2 cents is pass. Too good of deal means its not real.
