LC DB5 BOUGHT FROM ROSS

So I heard that there were couple of pairs purchased locally at ROSS. I thought they were trolling. Until if found these on ebay. I jumped on this pair right away. Everything checked out to me before I made the purchase. ROSS sells authentic kicks so I'm just doing a legit check on this pair. Since it came from ROSS, shoes did not have og box, extra pair of laces, or flashlight. Let me know what your thoughts. Thanks in advance

Honestly IDK about this one.. They do look legit, however they are not worth much more than retail..IF legit they are B grades without any orig accessories..Worth MAYBE retail IMO.

Well this is the first pair I've seen that actually has family on both tongues, I'd ha e to say legit tho tongues themselves aren't the cleanest

i don't know enough about the DB5 to legit check these, but if the shoe did came from ROSS it is very likely they are indeed B-Grades. ROSS as far as I know buys bulk from Nike and often they are left overs. they also buy from larger department stores for their left overs and sometimes overseas.

Personally I would let them go..ESPECIALLY if the price is above $150ish.. These are more than likely "c" grades in reality, I see NIKE sending most of the true "B"s of these to NIKE outlets or employees store..

You could call THE Ross these were supposedly purchased...Ask for the regional manager or any manager..Explain the situation and see if they have any knowledge or could run the tag # to see if it comes back to AJ5 DB?

IMHO If it was someone trying to get over why would they "B" stamp them and slap a ROSS tag on them. I just feel it would be easier to sell them straight up. IDK though..People have done weirder things.

Thanks for the responses. I pretty sure there going to b grade or other, especially bc them came from Ross. But the question is Authentic, unauthorized, or fakes? If I never mentioned Ross, would the comments still b what it is?(without showing marking on tag of course) but keep the comments going.

Honestly, I'm not sure if these are legit or not, I'm not very smart when it comes to DBs. Lol. If these did come from ross, they are authentic b-grades. Stores like Marshall's, TJ Maxx, and Ross get B-grade merchandise and things that did not sell out that go on discount. Did you already purchase these? And they came from eBay? As for value : I think Legit pair of DB5s go for around 1k, so these defiantly have a decent value, regardless if they are B-Grades or not. Not having the light or box is going to hurt the price tho. I would say these are worth at least $500 if they are authentic

my buddy is the manager of the local ross, he messes with people and locks up his own shoes and post pics on IG.

as for this pair being legit, I have no idea.

@scrubstoreowner I heard of people just taking off their shoes and putting on the rack and taking pics. But yeah, the seller even sent me the receipt. Can u have ur friend run the Ross tag and check what pulls up?

OP, can you post a pic of the Jumpman on the tongue close up @ about a 45 degree angle?  Basically wanting to see the "puff" or lining around it.  Pics of the mesh on the tongue as well, fully unlaced.  Shots of the insole would be good, as well as the stitching around the toecap (up close).  IWA stitching on the back of the tongue as well.

Sorry for all the pic requests...but would like to see.

Toebox looks a bit off, and the tongue is a bit choppy, but nothing like the normal GM ones you see.

Anyone notice the lace holes on the right shoe? Could be why they're labeled as B-grade, along with yellow spotting on the soles, only two things I found wrong, then again I haven't been lurking lately.

Man...

I really don't want to scream legit, but other than a bit of a rounded toebox (not by much), and slightly choppy tongue...these things look straight.

Mesh looks good, insole writing has the right depth, puff around the Jumpman on the tongue looks good.

Still would be hesitant. Just too odd w/ the Ross allocation and the written B stamp. I really can't find any discernible glaring flaws that scream fake though.

Can you snap a pic of where the clear toecap hits the patent leather on the upper? I'm going to go pull mine from the box. I don't remember if it's supposed to look that opaque or needs a bit more "milky" tint.

Thanks for ur input lachrymotion. Agin this pair is not from my state. But when I couple members from my local FB group posted pics of them purchasing db5's locally. I stopped by every tues to c if I could find a pair. They even took pics of the cashier ringing it up. Which in the end, can always b staged. But when this dude posted them on ebay in another state. Had to get them. I just saw pics yesterday of someone getting royal 1's, black grapes, and white/varsity red low. Locally I've seen post of db5's, db4's, lbj freegums just to name a few. Thanks again for the input
