Russell is as much of a project as anyone else. He will throw tons of TOs this year as he figures things out.  He has the ability, but much of his game is predicated around his confidence. This is where Kobe will really have value this season. Read what JC said about Kobe's mentoring.

They're being very conservative and frankly, he wasn't good.

The turnovers from Russell don't bother me one bit. As soon as he picks up the small nuances of the game and the angles a lot of those passes will turn into beautiful assists.

It's summer. They been playin together a couple weeks. They'll learn more/better with the vets and over time with each other.
