yes.to tell the lakers personally that he is not signing with themIdk why he would agree to a 2nd meeting if he wasn't at least contemplating it.

Sam Amick @sam_amick now
LaMarcus Alrdige's second meeting with the Lakers, I'm told, will focus on just talking basketball with Mitch Kupchak and Byron Scott.
this is absolutely not what we do.
Show them to him, Mitch!!!

Lakers are referring to their expected second meeting with LaMarcus Aldridge as "a follow-up."

Lamarcus has to be headed to us nowIf you want to be extremely optimistic, which I'm not, but I'll help some of you out,
LaMarcus Aldridge was really leaning toward us as the season ended, and going into Free Agency. But the meeting with the Lakers went so badly that he was completely turned off by the idea.
But like the girlfriend that dumps you, and you rebuff her when she wants to get back together, you sit on the idea for a few days, and when she calls again, you say, yeah let's talk again because you want to get talked into getting back together. If you throw on your rose colored glasses, LaMarcus wants to be convinced to sign with LA. Not saying he will, but he wants to be convinced to.
He probably won't and we're wasting time here.

I know I'm being optimistic with this 2nd meeting but I see this this way...What If I was looking for a job and had and interview with a place that totally turned me off, office looked a mess and i just wasn't feeling the vibe. But they called me back for a 2nd interview cause for whatever reason they really liked me...would I go back and waste my time? Especially if I had other options?
Mitch and Byron only two in the second meeting
