**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

That’s not the way I see it. I see it as those players all earned a draft selection and deserved it more. Oh well. It is what it is
This guy went 1st round

Did he earn it? According to you…

The only thing about it is.

As long as he’s not taking real minutes from NBA talent who cares. Like if he was taking minutes from Max Christie, then this is a huge problem.
No way he gets serious minutes. The biggest downside of this is that we didn't do a 2-way contract.

Lebron living all our dreams and managing the Lakers like its season mode in NBA 2k.

His agent is the shadow GM, his podcast partner is the coach and he create-a-player his son on the team, thats legendary work.

I think he'll be better than people expect. He'll be a decent to good role player. If he's more then that, then perfect.
Who knows, the Lakers and Bron could’ve been planning this for the last two years and Bron could’ve told his son to take it easy at USC and not show too many flashes so that no other team would draft him before the Lakers.

Chess not checkers type xxxx

Lots of things to think about….

Will other players go at him hard and be physical etc knowing Lebron might get mad

Will other players not respect him because he’s a nepotism draft pick?

Will players feel a certain way and be bitter towards him and this whole situation?

It’ll be interesting. They always say lakers love to have drama
