Whatever center we get, I would start DFS over Max at the 2. New center would presumably start at the 5 if the Lakers really want an optimal championship rotation that caters to AD’s strengthsWhen healthy, have a glut of players at the forward positions: Bron, Rui, Vando, DFS.
Will be interesting to see how the rotations pan out
Nah I wouldn’t do that. I don’t think Gabe gets traded. He seemingly is healthy now and Vincent will prove valuable in the playoffs.I would include Gabe in trades since his value has gone up, and sign Lonnie
Gabe is providing competent two-way guard play off the bench. Kinda have to keep him because no one else really provides it.
I would like Lonnie back (he has a buy-out starting next month I believe), but as like a change of pace, fifth guard in case Knecht falters. I don't want him back as the first guard off the bench. He can be a chaser like he was vs the Warriors guarding Klay, but I don't think/know if he can be a primary defender against the dribble like Gabe has been. You don’t think Lonnie can provide that? Plus the more athletic transition type buckets. He did win us a playoff game. Crazy how he’s not in the league
Move around.Pelinka jokes are funny, but the Sparks trading down 7 spots in the draft to pick up a small, shot chucking guard who can’t guard anyone doesn’t really seem like a great move to me.
what does bronny have to do with any of thisto pick up a small, shot chucking guard who can’t guard anyone doesn’t really seem like a great move to me.
