**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

I gave example of a lineup that wasn't small at every position if didn't want to try the other bigs (Giles, Castleton).

We did try with that other group. That's when the lead got extended and the game got out of hand, cemented the loss.
It was inevitable bro.

There are a lot of bigs in college for the Lakers to look into

One of them, Clingan from UConn, is playing well against top 5 pick Edey rn

Hopefully folks realize when you have basically 7 guys available and 2-3 of them aren't used to playing 35+ minutes a night, you're going to have lineups like that.

In fact, pretty sure AD put up a historic night against the exact same team a few weeks ago.......when they were missing all their Centers that night.

But we can blame Ham for not having Bron, AD, Vando, Wood, Vincent available, seems totally reasonable.

Yet the short handed Lakers can beat the mighty Boston Celtics at their house with Bron, AD, Vincent in street clothes Lol

So yeah, I’d say it’s completely reasonable for the Lakers to beat the Wolves AT HOME with the same shorthanded lineup that was down single digits late in the 2nd half only to lose momentum and give it right back to MIN.

Bottom line, it’s times like the times when you’re shorthanded when a solid coach becomes your ultimate compensating factor and with expert adjustments and timely decision making may even be the difference between a win and a loss

Hey real quick can someone photoshop Ham’s face on this meme?

Tonight is a must-win. A loss pretty much locks the into the 9-10 game, possibly falling down to the 10 seed. A win essentially locks the Warriors into the 10 seed, with a chance to climb into the 7-8 seed, with a Hail Mary shot of the 6 seed.

Given the importance of this game and the next game not being until Friday, I think we'll see AD and Bron go past 40 minutes if it's a close game.

Just need to use their size and not start slow. but this team been so unpredictable against GSW. Klay seems to be garbage most games but turn into his 2015 self against LAL
