**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Not counting the great Elgin Baylor, Nick the Quick Van Exel is my greatest non-champion Laker of all time.

His entire Lakers career is my favorite moment, especially his many battles playing against Seattle and the Glove. Super clutch, my guy was never shying away from the moment.

It always bothered me. He was an all star and we ended up with Travis knight and Lue. Was his attitude that bad that we couldn’t get a better return?

Pretty much his attitude was always his downfall that’s why he slipped to he 2nd round.

For those reasons is why I proudly rock my #9 Van Exel jersey, which you don't see too many folks have in their jersey repertoire

Don’t make dumbass trades, cheap out on free agents and hire some actual basketball minds.

Thank god we got Ham when we did. He would have likely been highly considered for that Jazz job.

Also I don’t want a retread coach for the lakers. We need new blood and one who thinks outside the box

Hope he also gets some older experiences assistant like Clifford also. Defensive specialist
