**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

I can't imagine D'Lo getting 26 shots up nightly, but then again someone's got to make up for Lou's absence. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Well at least the Sixers and Wolves won tonight. Suns are too good at tanking, jesus.

Multiple teams called about Clarkson.

tonight was a perfect example of what the rest of the season should look like. Would've been better if the Suns had won but whatever.

Young guys playing, learning/running the offense, working through mistakes while keeping it competitive.

BI played better today. Dlo had 4 steals. I hope he keeps being aggressive with his shot.

Ingram (4/12... 1/5 from three... 2/5 from ft)
Dlo: (12/26... 3/12 from three... 2/3 from ft)

I'm really worried about Ingram's ft %.. 65% isn't a good indicator of future shooting, but if he can get to high 70s/low 80s he'll be fine.
Dlo needs to get to the line more, altho sometimes I feel like he doesn't get any favor from the refs when he drives. Also, I wish there was a stat for missed assists. Lot of wide open looks off good reads missed tonight.

When he plays 30+ minutes

31.7 mpg 18.6/5.3/5.9 on .410/.350/.742 in 16 games this season

34.0 mpg 17.2/3.9/3.9 on .414/.390/.758 in 30 games last season

With tonight's game...

17 games over 30 minutes (32 MPG average)..... 19.2 / 5.2 / 5.9... .415/.341/.738

His offense is 7 points better per 100 possessions, defense is 4 points better per 100 possessions on games over 30, versus games of 20-29 minutes (20 games).

Dlo claiming his stake as the best player on the team :hat

These next 20 games are gunna be a lot of fun if it was like yesterday.

Kids coming along. Wish it would have been a more competitive game but happy to see some progress with the kids.

Next is consistency.

Man...once BI starts consistently draining his 3s and DLo can consistently be more aggressive driving to the hoop...the sky is the limit for next season

Would be icing on the cake if Randle stops being lazy at times and the defense improves

Story going online now: The Lakers and veteran guard Jose Calderon are exploring their buyout options, ESPN has learned.

ESPN sources say Golden State and Houston would emerge as suitors for Jose Calderon if the Spaniard guard indeed secures his release from LA

Damn from Melo to getting cut. Fast life comes.
