No way makes no sense. Pg Mann Morris ddr would all be fighting for the same spots on the court. Plus when Kawhi comes back and they are back to being contenders that adds one more such players and means he would have to take 2 pay cuts lol
Either way his agent won’t let him short change himself at age 31. Maybe in 4 years.
I bet he signs a 3/55 deal somewhere at least.

He made some good points besides that tho, a Buddy/kuz swap is pretty much perfect for all parties.

Assuming he gets offers of 20+ mill and says, ill compromise on a sign and trade for 15 mill to go to LA, we can give up Kuzma for him straight up.
So long as we give up Trez and take nothing back (or he opts out) and we just let Shroeder go without a fight.

Gasol (can prob dump him to lower our heads below hard cap)
1st round pick (could move this pick for an early 2nd rounder and save 1 mill)

There isn’t a real market for an aging wing who isn’t a three point threat nor plus defender. Demar knows that hence the willing to take less for a contender talk.
Cap space teams = Bulls, Grizz, Pels, Thunder, Hornets, Spurs and and Knicks…don’t see a reason for any of those teams to sign him for any significant reason, other glaring needs.
Dallas or maybe Denver perhaps could use their full MLE to sign him. Hard to see a team willing to hard cap themselves with a DDR sign and trade. Other than that, not sure what his options are honestly.
