Looking back, the organization was in such a struggle after Dr. Buss died. The internal drama seemed so crazy with the Jimmy/Mitch/Magic saga and the mismanagement was so bad fans were protesting. I can’t say that Jeanie Buss made the difference as we languished as a lottery team... hell, she continued making bad moves like passing on bringing Jerry West back.

In hindsight, the Lakers have one man to thank and be grateful for, and that’s Lebron. It wasn’t until Lebron made the decision to come to the Lakers and turn the team around that things started getting better. Dude literally came and changed the course of Laker/NBA history.

We’ve come a long way Laker fam, enjoy it.
