**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

He missed his FTs so let's trade him.

Just :rollin

And for Nerlens Noel nonetheless.

This place has become hilarious.

Randle CHOKED.

But hey lets give him a pass because he's only in year 3 of his career.Lets wait another 3 years to see if he develops into maybe an all star.

Short handed and the fourth game in five nights. Good job good effort.

He's barely in his 2nd year give him a break when Dlo gets back his mental fortitude will be +14

Randle was TRASH this whole 4 game road trip.

The only good thing he did was get 20 boards in an ugly win against the Bulls.

I hate all the excuses. 4th game in 5 .....back 2 back

It's a team full of youngsters who should be hungry to prove themselves every night

And they fly comfortably in charter jets. This generation is soft

Injuries is one thing, but tonight they played a team even more short handed and lost. No excuses for Troy Daniels to drop 32

What do you expect?

This team was trash last year...this year, with Luke Walton they did pretty well which was surprising for many but with 2 important players missing you just can't continue playing at the same level.

Even better teams would struggle. As if GSW wouldn't lose without KD and Curry or the Raptor without DeRozan & Lowry.

Only way I take boogie is if we retain Russell and Ingram. So id basically send over Clarkson, Randle, Whoever else and picks. But Mitch would hear the dial tone so fast if he offered that lmao.

I guess I'll wait a couple years when he's a FA though. Attitude concerns me but he's an elite big.

Id also pass on PG13. Don't think he'll age well throughout his contract

Like you said, just wait for Cousins & George 19 months from now, and not worry about who has what assets, and might make a trade for them before then.

And only make a trade if it's an absolute steal that you couldn't pass up.

If it is including Russell, Ingram or Randle, it's not a steal.
This generation is soft
This is such a tired, cliche, redundant line.

Previous generations included teams that were considered great that lost tons of games that people didn't think they should have. And future generations will have the same thing.

Also, there are plenty of examples of young teams in this generation that have rosters full of young guys winning games that they shouldn't win on paper.

People just find reasons to whine about 'this generation' and then say this generation is soft.

See the two wins against GSW at home in March & November

It really is something that generation after generation continues to tell themselves because they don't "get" something.

This current generation is no softer than mine, mine is no softer than my parents, and my parents is no softer than their parents

I disagree. I don't want to hear excuses from coaches and players about 4 games in 5 nights when the other team is more short handed and less talented.

Let media/fans talk about that. JC and Randle played horribly most of the trip and the MEM loss and how they played had nothing to do with back to back or 4 in 5

Lost in all this randle slander is that JC has shot like crap 3/4 of the roadtrip and guess in which game he did shoot well....

Moving forward the team won't win with him
Shooting under 30% from the field while we are shorthanded

BI lead the team in minutes, but he will have to become more aggressive and assert himself
Can't pass up shots like he has all year, especially being one of the more talented offensive players on the team

So if I am counting right, D'Lo should be back by the end of the week hopefully. Maybe the game vs the Suns on Friday, or even the Rockets game on Wednesday with some luck.
