SIDENOTE: Movie reminded me a ton of 500 Days of Summer. Especially the closing sequence.
Can't have both?
So...........love? Or your dream career?
If the other person really loves you, then they would support your dreams. Your other half should not hold you back, word to Gosling driving to Nevada to get Stone to come to that rehearsal that would shape her future. Can't have both?
Probably love -- no one lies on their deathbed wishing they had a better career
http://www.travelandleisure.com/culture-design/tv-movies/la-la-land-movie-locations-to-visit#introReally enjoyed this movie.
Is there a way to find out when they filmed at specific locations, because I remember visiting Griffith Observatory in 2016 and one half of the hill/mountain to get up there was blocked off due to filming, along with WB Studios.

I don't give a damn if I had the perfect wifey material, thick *** bit chest loyal woman, if I had to choose I'm taking my personal goals.
Heard way too many stories about the "perfect" woman upping and leaving cause their emotions are playing with them. We all have one life to live and one life to accomplish our goals. no woman or person is worth giving up your goals for.

Literally a day after I posted this, my girl broke up with me. I knew I was right lol
Yeah, that's what I thought too.I viewed it as him getting closure and letting go. He was obviously still in love with her, and like he said, he always be, but he knows his time has passed. The smile was getting that closure and being able to finally move forward with his life. Imo.
