That doesn't warrant "burning down" the section of town comprised of people that share the ethnicity of the shooter. Do you know what a slippery slope is?

No kidding. You're not telling me anything I don't already know. It still doesn't justify burning down salons and bodegas. Go for police stations and courthouses. Or better yet, thee police officers and thee jury.Black people been dealing with guilty by association forever, we know to well how slippery that slope is.
Violence provokes violence. All these roits have been a response to an act of racist violence.

Yeah I know. LAPD is/was dirty. Common knowledge. The police was protecting that **** and the white neighborhoods. They allowed the madness to go on in certain areas.
Actually they were. Don't forget what caused tension between blacks and koreans to heighten, the murder of Latasha Harlins at the hands of that Korean woman at the convince store. And her son.....
stop thinking with your emotions like a *****Y'all was on some real **** **** during that time also and got what yall deserved

Yes, I agree, it was murder. Yes I agree, a probation sentence is wrong.Latasha Harlins was murdered, the owner was convinced of manslaughter and the jury recommend a sentence of 16 years and the judge gave her probation for like 4 or 5.
It was a slap in the face to the black community, period. It was just like the Peter Liang situation in that you had people in the Korean community wanting understanding, claiming to be in the struggle too, but at the same time asking for justice not to be served.
And it was not only black folk looting. **** popped off and people of all shades started heisting
I hope you read the entire post and didn't just stop there. I'm 100% not trying to justify the murder. I am not implying Du had reasonable cause to shoot her.LOL @ "the Korean store owner feared for her life". Can't be serious with that one champ. Folks still trying to justify the MURDER of Latasha Harlins.
How have you felt about the way the riots have been covered during this anniversary? Accurate or are they leaving important things out?white kid wouldn't have caused fear.
She was killed because she was black. Period.
The tension of the verdict lit the fire...Tasha's murder through gas on it.
I lived in and participated in the shenanigans.
You have to understand that we grew up with asians owning everything in our community...the hate was there but you gonna loot what's there...just happened that most the stores were Korean owned
