Got mine, had them on for an hour now...first impressions:
- Good, solid fit with a lot of ways to adjust to your preference
- TTS, although juuuust a hair shorter in length than the K1
- No longer strangles at the midfoot/arch
- rounded outsole is interesting but not unstable
- material on the back/heel of the shoe is awesome, great heel lockdown AND comfort
- lack of forefoot zoom is a disappointment
- can't feel anything in the heel, again...disappointed with the "zoom"
My biggest problem is that on the left side of the left shoe, the fuse toe-guard comes down way too far IMO (to the first eyelet on the left) and pinches my pinky toe when I take a step. Hopefully this hot spot will break-in and go away.
The "Effect" CW looks even better in person, but I see a solid-black lace swap in the future. Right now I'd have to give the nod to the Kyrie 1, but I'm liking what they've done and I think the Kyrie is going to be a top-seller with the most potential for Nike going forward. If anyone has ANY questions, go ahead and ask. I like to help others out.
**(Size 14 in both Kyries, narrow/average width foot, casual wear)**
