i think its just bad asembly where  the heel cuff should have covered the exposed part but didnt. that's why you see the extra red shading.

as far as shape, from that angle, and after bringing mine out to compare...it looks good

you can definitely find another pair of that bothers you.

definitely fake. no kb24. no two diamonds. no flourescent red in the engineered mesh (EG). it isnt even EG

im amazed at the ankle curve though. usually its not as pronounced. 

kobes signature should not end at where the midsole is. that could be due to incorrect placement of the heel cuff,

Fake, the shozuku parts should not be touching each other (see first picture).

Also, there is no Engineered Mesh (second post, right picture), it is just a print.
