lol yeah right.... The youth criminal justice act here in toronto is a revolving door...not that i disagree with most of its principles...
he might do a little jail time at a juvenile facility depending on any priors (which i doubt)...his record will be erased and expunged and will not be viewable once he is 18.
He should be praying to basedgod that this all happened when he was 17.

Apparently his father is a neurosurgeon and stated that the video clip of his son setting the police car on fire was "misleading" and that he was not setting it on fire... they live in a 5 million dollar home in Port Moody or some ++@#.

damn, i kinda feel bad for him to an extent.
he did something stupid and should be punished of course and have to pay for the damage he caused, but after whatever punishment he gets and takes, he should get the chance to move on from this.
most likely, alot of the people involved in the riot would never act that way normally, and the moblike mentality got to them. they should be punished and have to own up for their actions.
but if this dude has never got in trouble with the law before they should go somewhat easy on him in my eyes and i would feel the sameway for anyone who doesn't have a prior criminal record in a case like this.
