Does anyone know if you pick the GITD option for the speckles for the midsoles that the Nike swoosh also has to be GITD? I'm trying to make the speckles GITD but not the swoosh.....
So I just got done live chatting with Elizabeth over at Nike.com and she said:
"As long as you have all of your specifications made through out the iD process, the shoe is going to be made to the exact design that is ordered. The picture changing colors on the swoosh for angles is a bug in the NIKEiD process. When on the UPPER AND SWOOSH step, if you do not have the optional box checked for SEE SWOOSH WITH GLOW EFFECT, this can also cause the color discrepancy when viewing at different angles. Just be sure to double check all of your iD options, and make sure everything in the design is set to how you want it to be created."
also:
"The Swoosh is going to be whichever color you choose. If you have GLOW selected, then the color of the Swoosh when it is not glowing will be an off-white color when the shoe is created."
and:
"The picture has a glitch, so that when you have a non-glow color for the Swoosh, like orange, but have GLOW chosen for the midsole color, when changing views on the picture it will inaccurately show that the non-glow Swoosh is glowing, this is not correct. Your design is going to be created to the specifications that you choose in the NIKEiD steps."
Hopefully this clears it up for some people. I really wanted to make a ASG colorway with a GITD speckles on the midsoles, but if the swoosh had to be also GITD, I wouldn't be able to pull the trigger.
Here's some pictures of the pictures of the "glitch" I'm talking about. Keep in mind IT'S THE SAME DESIGN, but in different angles:
See how the swoosh changes colors? I chose the swoosh to be orange.
