NB in the past has seemingly had little to no coordination between departments, but that has changed as of the past two-ish years. The Sweatshirt not being available is a mystery though. Perhaps part of a future capsule collection or bigger drop. The recent events have changed so much that the promo pics might have that disconnect from current drops.

we can agree to disagree on this because for the past two-is years i've only seen the hoop line as being a mess:
- first pix of KL wearing NB gear that was last season gear which was already sold out on the NB site.
- original OMN1s 2-way drop was a disaster
- original "Fun Guy" t-shirts impossible to get
- "First Light" Omn1s marketed by NB on their site as dropping July 9, when these had already dropped over a month ago at SP, FL, etc & are already marked down. {see above posts}....

as for the sweatshirt: "promo pics might have that disconnect from current drops" = could be, but isn't that someone's job to make that "connect", couldn't photoshop DM wearing something you can buy like the long sleeve t-shirt

i can appreciate your optimism that NB is straightening things out, i just don't see it

agree. new balance's handling of its basketball line has been horrendous from the jump. not gonna stop me from getting OMN1S and the like, but it's very disappointing tbh

I was referring to the company as a whole. In the past there was zero co-ordination between departments, and that has changed so much. Basketball does seem to be the exception as you pointed out just some of the issues. I have seen various things on the retail side for BB that were pretty laughable myself. Certain things, like the Kawhi promo stuff, is not always in NB's control, as bad as that might sound.

The first light drop is making the best of a bad situation. By now Omn1s lows should have hit the USA market, and Kawhi Sig release should be around this time, as a limited drop. With the season underway soon things will pick-up.

They will be releasing again on 7/30, well at least on finishline. They’re releasing 2 lows that day according to their release calendar. Some Chinese website has pics, not bad at all.

Appreciate the response and the information. I've looked and several retailers have the Omn1s Low showing up on their calendars for 7/30 as you've already stated. There are six colorways, so far, that were supposed to be available on 04/01 for teams and then trickled out to the regular consumers. One can see the colors and style codes listed in the catalog on NB.com It looks like most retailers will get the white pair and the black and mulberry pairs will be alternated between others. Looking forward to getting these for the court.

I don’t think that’s the kawhi sig it may be a new Model or possibly an Omn1s replacement. The front outside of it looks nothing like that kawhi and it seems to be a higher cut that the kawhi sig

I definitely see the height difference. You might be right though. The “brain” outsole pattern is what I thought was a nod to the Kawhi. Also what looks like the NB on the back.

NB response was 5 days ago (last week) so based on their response the possibility of a drop or at minimum more concrete info will be given this week.
