Katt Williams Wants The Smoke, Goes In on Tiffany Haddish, Kevin Hart and Others on V-103

The tweets is one thing, but he goofed hard with his stupid "I'm not apologizing" stance. That was such an asinine way to handle the situation.

Why didn’t he delete the tweets?

If they are old and irrelevant then just delete them
That's the thing too, if you've already apologized for them multiple times in the past, why still have them up?

It’s really easy to say “I’ve matured in the past 10 years in regards to my stance towards ______”

Hold this L, Kev. I can’t remember the last gay joke he made during a stand up. Go ahead and walk it back

Probably stubbornness on his end. Those tweets should’ve been long deleted.

Even if they were deleted, I’m sure some people had them screenshotted and waiting for the right time to use them against him though.

As for the apologizing part. He probably should’ve just played their game and apologized (he ended up doing so anyway after losing the host gig), but at the same time I get it. He already apologized and addressed the issue and probably got tired of bringing it up. Especially knowing that even if he apologized again and was sincere, it still wouldn’t be good enough for some people and they would still be calling for him to not host the show.

So what if people were still calling for him to be replaced. Apologizing again would be the right thing to do.

Not like he gets asked about it everyday, what his *** gotta be tired about.

That you would have to ask Kevin Hart. But I’ve seen those tweets brought up quite a bit in the past.

Apologizing over and over just seems repetitive though. If you addressed it and were sincere about it the first time and your actions since than are reflective of it, I don’t see what apologizing over and over again accomplishes other than appeasing people. From a business perspective he should’ve though. He came off as defiant and that didn’t help his cause.

Is the white dude who exposed the tweets gay?

The couple of gay dudes I know/ follow on Twitter not even mad at the **** . They cracking jokes back.

America has become so protective of gay people , defending them from **** they don’t even care about lol.

Real lack of foresight
Absolutely nothing to gain from being stubborn about it

Sometimes you gotta pick your battles. Like I get why he wouldn’t want to apologize again, but sometimes playing that game is more effective. Especially in an industry like Hollywood.

I respect his decision to not apologize. Dude been the most positive, non-offensive comedian for years now. **** that, don't bow down over something from 10 years ago that you already addressed.
So now you must have lost all respect for him cause he apologized anyways.

Do you see how dumb and useless his response was from him?

Yeah, famb was really just a fooling wildin think he doing it.

Plus it just undercuts the sincerity of his other past and future apologies. Famb really tried to act like he was annoyed to give an apology that would have taken a few minutes.

That is not evoking some principles, it is just acting entitled

That’s literally it. He was never going to win this battle. What did he gain from being stubborn?

It’s not like cats were going to think he was gay cause he apologized from the jump.

It’s not like cats were going to start watching his movies cause he didn’t apologize. I don’t think he thought this one through at all.

He probably overvalued himself and his importance and thought he could blow it off and things would die down.

When you think about it, it's easier just to take the tried and true methods and avoid the headache. Delete the tweets, apologize, donate to a related cause, move on with your life. Now all this over really a pointless ego trip.
