Another "Creative Company"...as if we need more of these.
I'm a Kanye fan but this will in no way have any impact or shape on REAL production.
This is just another attempt at being "social"
People are so hung up on "networking" that they barely bring any literal productivity from it.
Social media has fooled people into thinking that just having ideas is enough. We need real technological and manufacturing innovation...not just another think-tank of people wearing expensive clothes on tumblr.
EDIT: It sounds EXACTLY like Entertainment 720 from Parks and Recreation.
Another entity lacking any real substance or legitimacy.
Start rambling about random celebrities, rich people, and "IMAGES" they portrayed and now you think you can change the world with nebulous ideas.
People will say I'm hating but read that twitter stream again...where in ANYWHERE did he actually say what he was going to do that people on NT havent tinkered with?
No goals, just ideas. No objectives, just thoughts.
Even Steve Jobs and Richard Branson had to stop dreaming and get real and PRODUCE.
Its just an excuse to be "creative" and "artsy" for the sake of being "creative and artsy" without PRODUCT...without LITERAL IMPACT.
I know people actually in art school and design school with these same ideas...but the difference is that they are in tune with reality enough to actually bring about change through literal means...not random sparse language about things they really don't understand and want to influence without actually doing so.
There IS a real design world out there...but those people actually...DESIGN...they actually DO things...they MAKE things...they CREATE literal objects...Kanye is just bumping his gums while the rest of you all get to make new tumblr posts.
This is just another "movement" of his.
