Biebs got Derek Zoolander promoting the album
it's out
Entertainment Weekly gave it a B+
I haven't had a chance to listen but every track he put out before the leak was quality
i just listened to it b+ is legit
His work with Skrillex definitely broadened his audience. I live in Europe where electronic type music reigns supreme above all else, Bieber been getting tons of radio play with his singles. I also notice it getting a lot of bar play as well and people actually vibing to it.I've never hated or liked Bieber but is it just me or is he on the verge of winning over a lot of people?
I wondered if he could ever pull off what Timberlake did and it didnt look good earlier on. He's done well cleaning up his act and is putting out great music on top of it. Seems like the eruption of electronic music over the past few years has also helped his career in order to keep moving forward as an artist.
I saw absolutely zero impact from Journals where I live. That album turned me to a Bieber fan but on a broad scale I don't think it did much for the general public, at least not in Belgium. Confident got a little radio play but other than that it didn't seem like people paid much attention to him.I think it's really underrated what Journals did to help people see his musical growth
Plus he has a lot of celebrity friends who stood by his side, that Ellen effect is no joke and when you hear him talk he seems generally overwhelmed by his success. People forgot he was a megastar at 13.

He's literally everywhere now though.
Doubt he'll ever have an approval rating like JT. JT was never a d-bag in a real life. People just didn't like him because he was in a "boy band". JT was also way more charismatic and had the "look".I've never hated or liked Bieber but is it just me or is he on the verge of winning over a lot of people?
