Just witnessed the greatest scam I've ever seen Vol. The Ol' Razzle Dazzle

Lol that was quite the thread jack
lol indeed.. but back to the op's story, your friend is a moron. there's no such thing as easy money/come ups anymore, especially when they started talking about winning multiple tv's. a saying that will never be untrue, "if it sounds too good to be true, it is".

i hate taking gambles for the most part i dont e'em mess with scratch offs dam thats suck for your friend thoe 4 bills gone to another mans pocket for nothing

sorry op but your friend made a dumb mistake...i dont go to liqudation events in da first place lol

Dude at the Fair tried to gip me once.

He was handing me darts to throw at balloons to win a prize. He made it seem like I was throwing them for practice.

So he handed me like 10 darts and said keep trying.

So I threw 10 and said forget it Im done and he was like ok $60. I said da hell? Really the F word. I was PISSED off to a point where I was literally about to break his jaw.

So I said hell nah, forget you (Insert a ton of bad words here) and walked off. No way in helll was I paying him a dime.

The next year I saw the same guy with the Darts, he was like come win your lady a Big Teddy bear, I gave him a proper FUUUU

hmm

I was playing a game in little italy new york with i think the same premise of getting #'s and some board with a bunch of #'s....i dont remember exactly..i only lost like $3 but yea...$400?!?!?!

YIKES

I was at the local traveling carnival the other day. they had that basketball booth set up where you have to make a basket on a hoop higher than the regulation 10 feet, an extremely bouncy backboard, and an oval shaped hoop. it's usually like $5 for one shot at kings dominion or something but they were running a $1 per shot "special". I told the guy to cut me a deal so he said he'd give me 4 shots for $2. I made it on the 4th shot :)

not sure if they get paid hourly or depending on how much money their booth makes/how many prizes they don't give away.

I alway's sink those shot's the first time. Then I get cocky and try to win again and miss.lol

It's so easy to make money off greedy people these days. No one wants to work honestly for their stuff anymore.
qft kinda irrelevant for this thread but some "friends" i know invested 600 bucks into a pyramid scheme organization..its been like 3 weeks and still hasn't made profit :{ but they swear it works. that greed would consume a person man.

Sheesh, he might have to chalk that up as a loss, I mean, you knew when to walk away.

In my eyes, the only things you can really do is go to the authorities with the info you have to set up some type of sting, if you try to threaten these guys they might just up and leave.

I went to one of those liquidation places years ago I don't think they had anything advertised in the commercials. :{

damn this is crazy...

ama hit up a liquidiation event

ama see wassup with it and troll the hell out of it if i see a gambling booth

ama be like this is a damn scam but i aint gonna say anything, ama act like i aint know anything

instead troll and walk around like im interested with my money out

like im boutta spend $400 on something :lol

Two dudes ran up on me and my dad as we were leaving a deli trying to sell us some premium italian leather coats. They said that they had a flight to catch and had too much weight in their luggage to bring back. :lol Homie said he did the upholstery for Ferrari and gave me a business card. I just laughed and kept it moving.

The hidden gem in that scam is getting hundreds of people, if not thousands like the one I went to in NJ Meadowlands, to pay 5 dollars each entry fee to walk around looking at a buncha boolsheet! LOL
Cosign

They have one of these in my city like every year

At some point you cant say "oh they scammed me" when he chose to keep playing. Thats like me going to a casino and complaining the game is rigged and i lost $400

:lol

Reminds me of these hs kids that got conned into 3 card monty.

I pulled one of the boys aside for a second, and told him to tell his friends, and that he'll literally never win. I also pointed out who was in with the man on the game and showed him he'll let him win just to get others to play, and make it seem like it's possible.

I broke the entire ******g game down, even told him to google it, and dudes still ******g played and lost 100+ bucks.

there are cheats within the cheats. such as if you win they're skilled enough to switch the card to a losing one w/o you seeing.

heres an easy way to tell ask the man if you can flip the card over yourself most will probably say no

Easy way to avoid getting scammed.........Is to stop looking for ways to come up quick.........those get rich quick individuals be the easiest ones to get.
