the big reason is you have a lot of people who are after the hype shoe, so they can wear it to school a few times and post some on foot IG pics. After that they sell them VNDS. They're willing to pay top dollar for their shoe status.
Why do prices go up after a few months/years, even though the hype is greater during the week of release date? Seems like prices for all shoes are really high on release date then they drop, then after a few months/years they go wayy up
