Jordan XIII Obsidian - September 18, 2021

This might be one of those shoes I regret not picking up. Just too close to Flints for me.

In the meantime, I did buy a pair for my nephew off Champs app. I asked him which one did he like better between my Lightnings and Flints...he chose the 13s. These should do.

It's a great shoe in it's own right, but the colors(not such much the colorblocking) didn't make it a must have for me. Would rather wait for Playoffs or cop White/Blacks or Chicagos at a decent price.

Nephew's pair arrived today. I was thinking about holding them until Christmas, but I don't really know if his foot size will grow by then lol. I guess quality/craftsmanship is decent for a PS Jordan retro.

That’s funny, because i’ve been giving serious thought to hooking my nephews up wit some retros for Christmas, but I have some reservations about spending that kind of money on shoes they’ll probably wear for six months, tops.

...I was thinking about these.

Considering the amount we've both spent on shoes ourselves, I don't think $80(also depends on how many nephews for you) is too bad as a gift. They might not appreciate it now, but I know I'm definitely taking pictures of him wearing them whenever I get a chance lol.

No telling how the sneaker game will be 10-15 years from now, but it'll be a nice memory if he does grow into being a sneakerhead.

I got my great nephew a pair of CG 11 lows, those grey 13 gs and a pair of blk cement 3s.
And he was new born, he could finally wear them earlier this year
Now he will have a baby brother in a few months, so it worked out perfectly imo

You know there's only a very select few of us who have original pairs from when we were kids; ones our parents stored away somewhere. None of us can put a price on them now just looking at them. Your nephews will probably grow up to cherish those shoes...it's a worthwhile sacrifice.
