Sums it up. Every post 04 12 that I’ve had (maybe 3) have got the purchase out of me just trying to restore the feeling. At this point I accept we will never get proper 12s and should be looking into og sole swaps

12s didn’t have double stacked zoom. The model was the first Air Jordan to feature zoom period, but it was just full length, no doubles. You had to look to the foamposites from the same year to get the only shoe on the market that had double stacked zoom units.

Ah, my mistake. I haven’t owned a pair of 12s since 2004 (not counting my pair of golf lows). With that being said, weren’t their complaints that the last batch weren’t as “bouncy” as before?

I agree %.

None of the retros have that perfect high top ankle cut, and the mudguards are always too low and slanted in a weird direction. It's because the shoe itself it too low to fill out that perfect OG design.
