Jordan XI Legend Blue - December 14, 2024

**** dumb asf no way it should be that much of a difference .. you just another grown man that don’t know your size and just putting your foot into anything to say you have a certain shoe

This claim is incredibly idiotic.

Almost as idiotic as these sneaker brands making the sizing all over the place.

No some shoes run different bro. So all of your shoes are the same size. If so I hate to see those feet.

💯

Facts. Not sure why this is strange to some folks especially here on a sneaker board. These brands be wildin' with sizing.

I'm a size 10 in Chuck Taylors. A 10.5 in Air Force 1's. An 11 in most Jordans. And an 11.5 in AM 95's.

You'd be fool to get the same size shoe in all those models.

A size and a half difference? Cmon now that’s crazy. Only time in life I’ve ever even had to size up a full size is on some super insulated winter boots.

Don't blame us, blame the companies for the differentiations or shoe-lasts they build.

You're telling me for the pairs that I listed, you'd wear the same size across the board, and it would be the correct fit for your foot? Now THAT is crazy.

I’m a 10 or 10.5 in EVERYTHING. Fact is some people just don’t know their true size. There is no reason to be in every thread asking about sizing if you actually know your size.

That's a silly comment as your 'true size' can become irrelevant with the way different shoes are built. Even though tons of sizing questions get annoying, the fact is that different shoes can run differently size-wise. Sizing and fit can vary from model to model. How are you supposed to get some idea of how a shoe fits if you don't ask? 🤔

If someone wears AF1's most of their life, then decides to buy a pair of Huarache's online.....what do you think is going to happen when they receive the Huarache's in the mail? :rofl:Huarache's fit soooo small.

Idk bro, all my shoes are one size 🤷🏾‍♂️

I sized up a half size on one pair of my AE1 lows, but everything else is one size for me.

Yeah that's crazy. You lucky/you got it easy.

It's quite possible all the models you have run similar in size.

It's when you get shoes like Chucks & Huarache's that make this a conversation.

Chucks and air maxes definitely have a different fit. I wear a 12.5, with flat feet, so my shoe size is all over the place. They didn’t make 12.5 back in the day. I buy 12 and 12.5 in the XI model. I have to get a 13 when I buy from the non retro modern Jordan line. I learned that the 11s crease like crazy when they are too big. My OG Columbia XI were a size 13. They creased so bad that the patent leather split on the side.

:100:

And even within Jordan models sizing is different. Jordan 3's fit more roomy than Jordan 4's. 🤷‍♂️

Slightly maybe, but not a whole size difference

For retro Jordans, absolutely.

I can't speak on modern Jordans mentioned above as the last pair I tried on was prob the Jordan 21's. That little stash spot underneath the insole was dope by the way on those.

Got another pair of these for under $220 shipped from GBNY a few days ago. Hopefully the toes look better than my EA pair. Feels good getting under retail.

This. I never understood that...and with some of the sizes on these releases moving so quickly I could definitely see people grabbing a size close to their size but not their ACTUAL size

I think some dudes don’t believe in break in being a real thing or necessary and buy what is comfortable width wise even if they got 2-3 inches of space in the toebox. Recipe for terrible creasing and generally poor wear on the shoe.

It is studied and medically recommended that we wear shoes to have a thumb width of space between our longest toe and front end of the shoe. That space is to provide the needed room for recommended bend and toe splay; which is important for optimal foot health. Achieving the best fit can vary with sizes depending on the design, functionality, silhouette, etc. Basically, saying that a shoe size is NOT the same fit across the board. The most important factor to remember is different sizes not only change in length, but also change in width - which width is important for toe splay.

So when looking for the best fitting shoes to guarantee optimal foot health, you're more likely to find yourself with a collection of different sizes to achieve both bend and splay. But if you don't care to have healthy feet, I guess just stick to that one size where there's no toe room and your toes is touching the front tip of the shoe. Bron does it I guess - and he's the GOAT

Toe splay sounds like some freaky **** I want no part of.

12/12.5/13 is only 3 sizes that make since in having a range as 12.5s are rare so if have to get 12 or 13.

Many will find this out the hard way as pictured unfortunately but hey, crease reduction takes priority to them for the time being i suppose.
