Jordan XI Legend Blue - December 14, 2024

We still got these joints sitting. Never thought I see the day/ I got mine 🙏🏾. Our kids sizes are gone tho. It’s that $230 price tag tbh. That’s $250 after tax

Yeah that price tag is a poison pill for a lot of people holidays be damned

I got a pair and returned them. The sizing to me is weird. True to size I had e movement in my shoes. Half size down fit me better. I was more secured and locked in.

Hoping these will still be at the Nike store on Monday so i can use my boy's employee discount.

Ok now do AJ1 OG Highs and AJ 4s for comparison
You didn't mention a comparison.
You said the market is not flooded with 11s.
That's simply false.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

"What I meant that the 11 is one 0G model that's not as flooded as other models."

Agreed, but that's not what you said and that's not what I responded to.

I see what you meant now, though.
Agreed. 🤙🏼

I haven't posted in ages but had to alert my fellow NTers.. what everyone else is saying about the QC and patent leather is absolutely 100% true...

These are straight up garbage compared to my 2014s... The toe "thickness" of the patent on the 2014s is light years above this year's version. Why does this matter? Because after one wear in this year's version your toe box is gonna crease more than your local plumber's buttcrack..

All jokes aside, the 2014s are still going strong after probably ~50 or so wears with absolutely no creasing... it just feels sturdier in hand and on feet than this year's version.

I copped two from NDC and both going straight back to Nike. Unless these go on sale I'll proudly wear my 2014s. Really disappointed with both the quality and price tag for this year's version.

Wow. So after all the trash talk regarding the 2014s, they ended up being the superior release, even with the lower patent leather and drunk Jumpman lol

Definitely better in terms of materials used. However the shape was atrocious, the low patent looked funky, and the color of the sole was so off. So pick your poison. Better shape and closer to OG appearance, or better materials, but awful shape etc.

Say what you will about this release and the 11s in general. I have or have had every Jordan 11 Mid release ever and the materials and such just keeps getting worse while the price keeps going up.

I have friends at both Nike/Jordan Brand and the VP and higher ups as you know want max profits for the cheapest most crap materials possible. They only care about bottom dollar and that’s it.

Last years gratitude 11s had some of if not the worst patent leather ever. That’s a fact. I wore pairs on court and a pair off court and they were a complete wrinkled mess after no time at all. 1995/200/2001 and ever the 2016/2018 and 2019 11s all had great patent materials but this and last year along with the horrid 2008-2015 pairs were all synthetic or paper thin. This years even feels gritty like sand paper and not smooth at all.

Whether that bugs you or not is up to you but for $295 Canadian it’s pathetic.

Starting to look like it's a good thing I passed on these. Sucks cause I've never owned this colorway and wanted to, but if the patent leather is gonna crumple from being looked at and the overall quality is straight up bad, I dunno if I want to spend resell on these.

Didn’t want these to begin with but this sucks if this is the direction of future 11s.

Been sayin it, but it’s cats in here who will die first before they go against JB.
I get it I get it. But that’s a pathetic joke. There’s no defending the brand. The leather is even rock hard crap from the 2008-2014 era. It’s really sad to be honest because for a couple years there the 2016/2018 and 2019 pairs hell even the cool greys were pretty damn good.

It’s just the direction as the brand as a whole. Those who claim they’re not made to hoop in anymore…sure ok they’re a legacy product.

But in all honesty, the tech in this shoe is better than 60% of what’s on the market today.

Herringbone
Full carbon plate
Full length air sole unit

It’s what it is, I have friends and such there but it won’t stop me from the higher ups being greedy vs spending another 5-10 dollars on higher quality materials

Video soon?

I can't believe I walked into Nike and picked up my pair the day after release. This shoe was important to me and a must have as it was my first pair of Js back in 96 (thanks Sports Chalet).

These are Columbia's...close to what I remember my OGs looking like.
