Cap. I have both these and the BC’s and the quality on the 11’s are way superior. BC’s have the worst quality I’ve seen on retros in at least 2 years.ADVERTISEMENTJust now randomly saw these in Dicks while Christmas shopping with the wife and kids, and while they’re stunning, they’re also impossibly ******. Not only the previously documented thin patent, but the upper leather is seriously toy grade levels of plastic feeling. Hate to pass on these since I had the 2001 retro my senior year of high school, and have looked forward to a decent retro since, but the quality is not there for me. I would rather just have a 3rd pair of bc3. Good for everyone who got these easily.

Sorry man but these might be the worst 11s we have gotten as far as quality goes. They don’t hold a stick to the most recent BC3s. They didn’t even do the toe cap right, the patent leather is supposed to be behind the sole, this pair it’s cut around it. That will be an issue in the future.Cap. Let\'s cut to the chase—the AJ11 is all-time. MJ won 72 games and a title while wearing \'em. Now, the icon returns in classic colors. From its slick patent leather mudguard to the frosted outsole, this Tinker Hatfield design brings the off-court allure. And for the final touch? Full-length Air...www.shiekh.com

Interesting take dude. In your eyes what makes the bc bad quality? The leather is about as good as you’ll find on a GR Nike, and the shape is about as close to the 1988 pairs as it’s ever been. Sure, there are some control issues across production such as the EP inconsistencies and the like, but in my opinion if you get a good pair of the 2024 BC3 then you’ve got a very nice sneaker top to bottom. The same can’t be said with the Columbia 11 in my eyes. The patent leather is never going to be thick on any pairs, and nor will the leather uppers be soft or supple. The ballistic mesh is a far cry from what it was in 1996 and 2001. Basically what I’m saying is it’s possible to get dope 3s, the same can’t be said for these 11s. I would love to hear your thoughts as to what makes these 11s decent.Cap. I have both these and the BC’s and the quality on the 11’s are way superior. What length u go with bro? Thanks
They’re the exact same quality as the 11’s of the past two years. I buy them every year. Cool Grey’s were a notch better but Gratitudes and Cherrys are the same as these. BC’s not even on the level of the Ivory’s from earlier this year let alone the WC’s from last year or the FR’s from the year prior. BC’s feel cheap straight out of the box. I’ve never felt that way about a retro until those and I’ve been buying for 30 years. Most in the BC thread felt the same as well.ADVERTISEMENT

This man knows lol. Yeah man totally and honestly passing on these 11s really bothers me because I was essentially looking forward to these since 2001Sorry man but these might be the worst 11s we have gotten as far as quality goes. Leather on the BC’s was not good at all compared to recent III’s. Ivory’s, Wizards, WC’s & FR’s are all way better quality. These 11’s are on par with recent 11’s. It’s obvious that Nike cut back on the BC’s as soon as you take them out the box if you own the recent III’s they released. Idc about elephant print, shape or any of that. They literally feel cheap in hand and on foot. The BC thread is full of people feeling the same then you have those who bought 3 and 4 pair trying to put together a decent pair. The most recent III’s I bought before the BC’s were the ivory’s earlier this year and they exceeded expectations.ADVERTISEMENTInteresting take dude. In your eyes what makes the bc bad quality? Can’t be debated that the fire reds are better quality than the bc for sure, I agree. Not sure if I had a bad pair of reimagined or what but my pair was quite janky. Like to circle back and grab more. But dude the bc3 feel several tiers above these 11s and I don’t understand how that’s debatable. They’re the exact same quality as the 11’s of the past two years. Point went over your head. The Gratitudes and Cherrys had those same issues. Meanwhile all the recent III’s were superb quality until the BC’s. It was an obvious drop off of quality. The drop off with 11’s started 2 years ago not today. If you didn’t enjoy the Gratitudes and Cherrys you probably won’t enjoy these quality wise. The quality on these are no surprise unlike the BC’s.ADVERTISEMENTThey are much worst . I was just comparing my 2014s which have thicker leather but a terrible shape. Some of the 2024 pairs have lumpy toe boxes because they had to pull it tight to glue it to the toe cap sole. Cool Greys was the last great 11 we got for Christmas, sadly it’s only gonna get worst. I sent this pair back to Nike. And my footlocker pair is only slightly better.
I have owned a pile of remastered 3s starting from when they fixed the model in 2020 and agree the quality has much of time been solid. Probably my favorite quality of any of them was the UNC ones but I’m not entirely sure. I basically live in that bc3 thread and saw all the circus acts lol. It got wild for sure trying to secure good pairs. I’m not debating the inconsistency across production man, but I didn’t see much about the quality of the leather being anything less than decent. I know I have 2 pairs and they’re both really nice, and insanely comfortable on foot while feeling high quality compared to 90% of retro stuff.Leather on the BC’s was not good at all compared to recent III’s. Both of those came AFTER cool greys, that’s why I said the Cool Grey 11s were the last good holiday 11. . Go take a nap broPoint went over your head. The Gratitudes and Cherrys had those same issues.
