They went from 3k followers to 24k+. They've been on major sneaker blogs and will probably continue to pop up since they do this every Monday people will keep coming back and purchasing from them. When people are in Philly or those who live in Philly will now recognize them and visit them off of this. It adds brand recognition. Eventually they could take this attention and open a shop elsewhere and people will remember them from this promotion.
Brand power, identity, and recognition is more important than sitting on a few thousand dollars of shoes for a year or two.
Who else has restocked three Jordan 11 mids in full family sizing with plenty of stock all at the same time? That alone is major. They did this last with the black and red 11 lows and it wasn't that by a deal since they just came out. They made all the money they would have selling at the official release date but also gained national publicity from it.
sure. anybody can post and get "free advertising"....but that has to convert to sales and publicity. or else it defeats the purpose. anybody can announce restocks for lame releases that didnt sell well. but nobody would buy. city blue did this with a restock of some heat. would they have been buzzing so hard these past few days if they restocked bordeauxs, or the 3peats or some other release that nobody wanted?
Anybody can post anythiung and get "FREE Advertising"........ It cost them nothing to do wha they did......
What it did do us tie up cashflow. If the sneakers were sold above retail it would be a good move.
Business school or not anyone can see that.
And I'm out of school 20 years bro.

nah they wouldnt. but they held back some heat. and got it ALL sold. and FAST too. so there goes the argument of them losing out on money because they didnt sell everything on release day. and on TOP of that, they got positive buzz right now.
win win for them.

i guessing you struck out?
and this all started with dude asking HOW they have stock so far after RD .....
and to add to that, most people don't realize how stores inventory work. they have to BUY the shoes before receiving them. they don't wait to sell them and Nike gets a portion. How else would they have them? Nike isn't cooking up fresh pairs for retailers on demand.
Exactly.
"Nike made a lot of pairs of the "72-10" Air Jordan 11. No seriously, a lot.
Sneaker retailers sold over 1 million pairs, and that's not even accounting for all those sold directly via Nike. In the brand's Q3 2016 earnings call yesterday, Nike brand president Trevor Edwards gave another hint at how huge the shoe's release was.
"The '72-10' colorway of the Air Jordan 11 was the largest launch ever in the history of NIKE.com, breaking sales and traffic records," Edwards said. "With this launch, we doubled NIKE.com’s previous largest launch ever."
With these figures, it's quite possible that there are more pairs of this shoe out there than any other Air Jordan before." http://*************.com/news/2016/03/air-jordan-11-72-10-biggest-nike-release-ever
Dont worry you will secure them my friendAnd yet I still haven't been able to cop [emoji]128545[/emoji]"Nike made a lot of pairs of the "72-10" Air Jordan 11. No seriously, a lot.

Haha, she is spoiled enough, kicks would be a waste on her.
I was surprised as to how tight they were.
